No Ac -arrived to home for no ac from unit in attic -we were here in July and replaced the ECM motor and now it is not working again -went to attic and began diagnostic of system -using ECM tester diagnosed that the motor has failed -upon further diagnostic, determined only other component that controls the motor is the system control board -recommend we replace the control board and the ECM motor -gave customer option for repairs -replace failed ECM motor under warranty and replace control board **ECM motor is cover under part and labor warranty** 8/20/25 -arrived to home to perform repair on system -verified power is off -removed failed ECM motor, replaced motor -removed control board and replaced control -confirmed wiring is correct and turned system -blower kicks on and runs, amperage is within specs -motor type does a rotation check by running in both directions for 20 seconds -at this time systems is operating as designed with no issues

Found 18 year-old R 22 system located on the front of the building when looking at the front of the building, it is the unit located on the left underneath the small roof made to “protect” the condensers. This roof directly above the condensers is detrimental to the systems, life expectancy as well as efficiency and should be removed as soon as possible beyond that I was able to determine the system was low on refrigerant informed customer recharging. The system has no warranty or guarantee as we are adding refrigerant to a system with a leak in it. Customer understood and opted to move forward with recharging the system in hopes to get through the rest of the air conditioning season prior to replacing the systemdid not quote system replacement as customer is not considering doing it this season, she will call us back in the spring when she is ready to move forward with a replacement. Added 3.5 pounds of R 22 system has a TXV brought subcool to 11° sub cool per manufacturer spec. Best
