Met with Toby and went over the scope of work, he’s looking to have an EV charger installed in the garage for his Tesla. We took a look at his panel to ensure there was enough space and to also make sure his panel wouldn’t be overloaded by the addition of the EV charger. The panel and sub panel were completely maxed out and didn’t have enough space to add any circuits to. We informed the customer that in order to add the EV charger circuit we would have to upgrade the sub panel to a 20 circuit sub panel and move some of the smaller circuits into the sub panel so that we can fit our 2 pole 50 GFCI breaker inside the main panel. Increasing the size of the sub panel would also be beneficial for future expansion as it would allow for more circuits to be run and any future projects that would require new circuits to be run, there would now be adequate space for them. The customer had also made mention that the jacuzzi behind the garage is no longer working and he’s not going to be fixing it

Arrived at home for tune up on ac system, upon inspection found a 23 year old r22 ac unit. Started by removing indoor cover and found mold growth inside. Up my gauges and temp probes and the system si working and cooling and is within spec but system is showing signs of liquid slugging back to the compressor, this can cause damaged to the compressor. Tested the rest of the electrical componets in the outdoor unit and found most of them had wear and tear or are close to failure, due too the systems age we cannot guarantee on govern of any work or repairs that are performed.

Provided options on replacing second floor air-conditioning as well as furnace also provided options to add humidification system to the first floor system. The finished attic space is not insulated on any of the external walls, including the ceiling recommend reaching out to Neeeco for an energy audit as well as for them to provide solutions for insulating, finish the attic.

-replace capacitor (no guarantee on longevity due to age of system) Arrived at home to replace capacitor on system , upon arrival jena informed me that another company had come out for the same issue and told her that the system will not work and that the compressor had failed, replaced the capacitor and went to start the system and found the compressor would not start. Tested compressor and found winding were not perfectly in spec, also found compressor was very hot, cooled down compressor attempted to start again and nothing, replaced the hard start kit has I watched it fail and system still would not start. After a very though evaluation of the wring found that the main 2 compressor wires had been swapped. Put the wires back and system fired right up. System is currently back on and cooling the home.
